MK Acapella Retain the Harmony Union Cup

Mk Acapella performed in the Barbershop Chorus class at the Milton Keynes Festival of
the Arts, held at Thornton College for the first time,
singing My Old Kentucky Home and Orange Coloured Sky.
We were delighted to get a Distinction for our performance, and also to win and retain the
Harmony Union Cup for the fourth year running as the best overall barbershop
performance.
The ladies quartet Chordination won the quartet competition, with In My
Room and For The Longest Time.
We were very pleased to take part in the Festival with our good friends from
Junction 14 and FiveWays -
and it was a great end to the day when all the choruses and quartets joined
together to sing a couple of barbershop "standards".
